KDCA-ISCEP to hold Kaamatan concert on Sunday nite

KOTA KINABALU: In conjunction with the Harvest Festival, the Kadazandusun Cultural Association (KDCA) in collaboration with the International Student Cultural Exchange Program (ISCEP) will hold a concert KDCA- ISCEP Kaamatan 2013, here on Sunday night.
                Organising chairman of the KDCA-ISCEP Kaamatan Concert 2013 Flavia Ignatius said, the concert involves participants from 16 schools who will be performing dances and singing and playing traditional musical instruments.
                "We warmly welcome the presence of the public to support the Harvest Concert Iscep, which uses the Harvest Festival theme, entitled 'Keep goodwill and understanding through the Harvest'," she said in a statement, here today.
                Flavia said various ethnic cultures of Sabah will be presented by the participants, who have made early preparations for the concert which is part of the ISCEP efforts to promote cultural dignity among the younger generation.

                The concert will be officiated by Huguan Siou cum Sabah Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan.
